Brian has been shooting clay targets since he was sixteen. As the Captain of the George Mason University Trap & Skeet Team, in 1983 his team won their first national championship and he became an accomplished international skeet shooter. In the early 1990's he began shooting sporting clays and driven/flushed game birds in Europe and Africa. In 1993 he returned to the U.S. and began shooting pheasants in South Dakota and doves/pigeons in Argentina. In 2014 he obtained his National Sporting Clays Association (NSCA) Level I Instructor Certification, his NSCA Level II certification in 2016, and his NSCA Level III certification in 2020. He has worked/taught at four-gun clubs in the eastern U.S., including as the General Manager of a trap, skeet, and sporting clays club in Florida. He considers the Sarasota Gun Club his home club now and teaches sporting clays weekly here mostly year around. He works with shooters at all levels from beginners to tournament competitors. His close association with several dealers and gun manufacturers enables his clients to obtain the best guns and equipment; access to shoot numerous demo guns; individual gun fitting and gun repairs/modifications; and he coordinates yearly trips to Argentina for ducks, doves, pigeons, and perdiz, where his field shooting instruction is invaluable. Brian is one of 89 Level III Instructors in all of North America.  Brian is also certified and conducts NSCA Instructor courses for Level I candidates in Florida.
